Hey! I'm Charlie, a female photographer with experience in commercial brand work and live sports coverage with a personal focus in supporting the growth and quality of women's sports.
I've been accredited for a multitude of women's sports leagues and competitions including Barclay's WSL, Women's FA Cup, UEFA Women's Champion's League & Women's Super League Basketball.
Based in Sheffield for the last 10 years, I've gone from running round like headless chicken in student media, to Creative Lead at Kitlocker whilst developing my photography through shooting sports, travel, and exploring what's important to me to shoot and experience.
I'm a big fan of sport in general and love covering everything and anything. I am one of thousands of girls who have experienced losing interest in sports during my teenage years due to the lack of encouragement, opportunities and inclusion for girls. The rise in women's football has been directly linked to me feeling like I belong in this space and thrive, as it has done and continues to do to multiple generations of young girls and women.
I'm not the first women to have been through this journey, and I doubt, even as our sports grow, I'll be the last. But, I will be apart of the growth that hopefully makes it a little bit easier and safer feeing to enjoy and participate in sport.
